People Versus TV is an artist-led collective based in Liverpool, dedicated to the surreal, the subversive, and the community-driven. We use film and moving image to bring people together, producing and showcasing work that challenges convention, sparks conversation, and celebrates creative independence.

We support creatives, filmmakers and anyone interested in taking part who’s faced barriers to the arts, whether through cost, social anxiety, exclusion, or lack of opportunity. Through free workshops, screenings, and collaborative projects, we help people develop skills, confidence, and visibility while connecting with others working creatively.

As a Community Interest Company, all our work is non-profit and volunteer-led. Every penny we raise goes back into building an inclusive DIY film culture where underrepresented voices can experiment, take risks, and grow. Together, we’re creating a space for film and art that’s open, accessible, and proudly independent.
